Show 1: Commences at 7pm
Show 2: Commences at 930pm

Come and celebrate the launch of singer-songwriter Ethel Yap's debut self-titled EP with this intimate and personal gig, featuring local alternative-pop artist Zeeaura as the opening act.

"Ethel Yap EP" is an earthy, acoustically-driven folk-inspired work that explores themes of identity, home, personhood and roots, plunging the depths of self-discovery, lingering on intimate meditations of time and loss, birth and war. From the unhurried musings on relationships of “Place Of Our Own” and the layered musical instrumentation on the intimate confessional “Underwater”, to the scorching lyrics on alternative rock “Marionette” and the delicate, aching vocals on the lead folk single “Beautiful”, the record embodies the origin story of a pilgrim artist finding her way through the ebb and flow of belonging, life and love.

Merchandise will be available for purchase at the event - but the exclusive deals with the limited ticket bundles will only be available with ticket purchases.

This event is supported by the National Arts Council, with official venue sponsor The Theatre Practice.
